A little walk around Addis Ababa

A few of us went for a little walk today. Saw the blue and white taxis (in abundance!) and some buildings being built which had scaffolding made of wooden sticks, rather than metal pipes. It was still high, about four stories or so, can’t imagine what it must be like to work on them.

Making sure to take time to relax. Addis is 2400m above sea level and even a walk can leave you a short of breath. But this has its advantages – once I’ve adapted to the change and come back to the UK I should be able to carry more oxygen in my blood cells and be fitter than now!
